WHAT IS A SCHOOL TO WORK PORTAL?
WynBay LLEN is funded to deliver the school-to-work program, which supports schools in engaging with industry and providing high-quality work-based learning opportunities for all students.
The Department of Education has launched the School to Work Portal, a website for students and schools in Victoria to find available placements. WynBay LLEN manages the portal in the Wyndham and Hobsons Bay regions, helping businesses connect with students and schools.
ADVANTAGES OF USING THE PORTAL:
- Track all student details in one place – the work placements portal database.
- Have the school and LLEN as contacts throughout student placement. ·
- Provided to enable employers to promote placement opportunities.
- Managed by the WYNBAY LLEN for students, schools and employers.
- Be recognised with a certificate of participation.
- Be invited to events hosted by the LLEN.
